Error 609 Found: Love and Commitment Myths

Image
So, someone asked me, what would you choose between love and commitment? And I asked, Does not Love and Commitment go hand in hand? You should never commit to someone; you are not in love with- that is like cheating on to yourself. When you commit to someone you don’t love, who are you fooling other than yourself. When you say that I love you, and I cannot live without you to someone you definitely don’t love and can evidently live without- Who did you fool? We are fools to think that people cheat on others. Committing to someone you do not actually love is the first step to self-betrayal. Everything that you do later is just an add-on cheese to that layer of self-betrayal. However, when you are in love and you are committed. You need to keep loving that person because we don’t make commitments to the other person. A commitment is a promise you made not just to your beloved, but also to yourself. Backing out is like breaking a promise you made to yourself. Once you are com...

The Aesthetic Keeda

Image
Three years ago, at a college event, our HOD called me and my classmate to select the names of a few segments. It was for bidding goodbye to our seniors then. To have the fun heightened up, Sir suggested of including a segment where the senior class boys will be asked to flaunt their physique (with clothes on, of course!). We laughed. So, sir asked what a quirky name for it can be. My classmate and I first thought of "Muscle Maniacs". Sir asked for something closer to the idea. So, I suggested " ang pradarshan".  Both of them had big wrinkles and wide disapproval all over their face. Sir repeated the word 'no' at least five to six times, followed by the phrase, "That sounds so sick and cheap". I murmured "It is what it is?" Sir went on going, "Something classier and aesthetic."  Now, come on the senior boys showing off their muscles didn't seem classy to me, rather more wild. They came up with something aesthetic  that had...

A Belief | Self-Help Poem | A Peom Dose, Keeps Happiness Close

A Belief This time I am afraid. I didn't text you, Though I had- A parade of words too. Isn't your fault really. It is a consequence  When I failed to accept- The halts really. The last time, I had given more. Then what was asked for. And apparently: I was underestimated more- Than I could hope for. So fear stays, That you too may leave. Because every ending- Begins with a belief.

Growing Up demands more Patience, Communication, Strength and Self-Belief

Growing up didn't bring Solitude, Pain, Anxiety and Suffocation along. I repeat.    Growing up didn't bring Solitude, Pain, Anxiety and Suffocation along. All it is, t hat we forgot to see, that growing up demanded more sincerity and patience. All your personal problems, career problems demand a better understanding and attention. Like the Charlie Puth's song-  " You just want attention, You don't want my heart" Growing Up just demands your attention. It doesn't want to fill sadness or darkness in your heart. It is only asking you to shift your attention, shift your perspective to building up solutions.  You will feel trapped physically when you are mentally stuck into an emotion. You need to free yourself from that. Growing up means growing your strength. You will feel entangled into your environment when you feel stuck into your life's situation. You need to build your path yourself. Growing up demands growing more your self dependence. You will fe...

Fear is but, A Lack of Faith

Image
There is nothing called fear. It's just a lack of faith. A lack of faith on yourself, or on a person. A lack of self confidence. A lacking of belief on the power of your skills. Fear, is just the basic feeling which comes out of the anxiousness of an unseen, unknown future.  You fear when something changes & you don't have the least idea of how are the winds going to sail you. Fear is the reaction when you give in to the uncertainty and uncontrollability of things happening in your life. Fear has no independent existence. It is but a lack of faith on yourself.  When you wish for a definite and exact outcome, but you cannot assure it for yourself, there comes fear. Fear is the but a lack of faith on the existential possibility of your desires. When you conjure up images that are opposite to your dreamland, to your wishing well.  When those contradictory images look more real and probable, we fear.  If you are getting this, you'd understand that there c...

That's Love too ❣️

If someone you love, starts building walls around themselves. Help them with that. Help them even if they don't want to include you.  Let them know, that they can come out to you with their emotions, without prior justification & fear of rejection.  Help them build a strong wall And remember you.. That's Love Too.

Life at Riddles

A few while ago, a friend of mine complained, "Muskan, nothing is helping. Thoda sa kuch sahi hota hai , and then it all comes back to the same place" Do you face that too? Sometimes, life plays with us. It shoots a problem at you. With no escape. You ask yourself questions, and then you find certain answers. You follow the path. One answer leads to another answer. Then to yet another answer. It gives you a sense of victory until you come back to the same point. To the same question. You find yourself stuck into that same square of problems. Like the square of one is always one :) And life says, "HOWZ THAT" But why does that happen so? Aren't experiences in life supposed to teach us and make us better? Yes. They are. Sometimes we keep coming back to square one because we keep finding solutions to our comfort zones. We keep try to reach a particular faraway point by stretching our hands to the utmost. We don't even try to move our limbs :) When problems keep ...
