Stay Lit at Perspective

  December put a pat on my back. A long quiet hug, And a warm rug. So, I laid down the year's stress. Hold the button- And press, Refresh.  December rubbed its palm on my back Telling me how proud it is- I've turned bigger stones Without turning my back. So, I laid down my head And a story, Everyone has heard, Everyone has said, Hold the button- And press, Refresh.  But do quiet winters too, Smoke beginnings new?  December sat by my side. No conversations, only silence. It knows everything And I've nothing to hide It knows what had happened It knows how I had felt: Kicked below the belt. So, December put a pat on my back.  A warm cup of coffee For the mile in front of me. Asking me,  "Are you not enough smart? Hold the button..." And I pressed, Restart. 

 Moving On doesn't work? try SELF REALIZATION. Try waiting for a call that would never come.  Try shouting over a Whatsapp audio and never sending it. Try waking up every morning with an anxiety to check if their 'dp' is still visible and you can still contact them.  Try that abrupt shift of you faith into anxiety. Try their "One call away" to "Can I call you once?" Try wondering "IF" they will reply or not instead of "WHAT" they will reply back. Try listening to "Ami dur hote tomake dekhechi" from "oo haareya main dil tujhpe" Try fighting to stay in love with them, against yourself. You think Moving On is tough? Try your self respect getting scattered, getting tore apart, brought down.  Your Self Realization will help you move ahead. Not friends, not memes, not a new love interest.  Just That.
