Where is the home, Of the Homeless? Where is the shame, Of the Shameless? The heartless sleeps sound. Like vampires in a hound In empires built of wounds In circles round and round. Where is the home, Of the Homeless? Where is the shame, Of the Shameless? Where is the duty- Endowed with the powers? Or did the anarchist sacrifice it? To survive the need of the hour! For power has a strange stare, Ascending the throne Descending the moral stair. Where is the home, Of the Homeless? Where is the shame, Of the Shameless? Authority without supervision. Void of answerability In every decision. The common masses underprivileged of basic and simple solution. Yet they demand golden pages of history. At the cost of lies and illusion. Wake up, can't you see! Sleep paralysis is not a bliss. Not every time a princess finds a frog. They are meant to have a kiss.
