Art & Algorithm

Image
Do you really think that writers or painters have a pattern in being mused and amusing you? Do you really think that it is practically possible for any writer to wake up in the morning with a new hunch and inject in you a motivational punch? Haa! Maybe you don't. But the influential social media and the urge to be found in a web traffic has made the writers and other artists feel that their art should come out in a pattern that matches the social media algorithm and help them to get found or let's say in the Gen Z fashion, 'trend'...! Beginning from a few years ago till a few week ago, I too have tried to fit in an algorithm. The social media hashtags, you see. The last time, I had given more. Then what was asked for. And apparently: I was underestimated more- Than I could hope for. So fear stays, That you too may leave. Because every ending- Begins with a belief.

Unnecessarily Glorified Solitude

People have unnecessarily glorified solitude without knowing how scary it is.  I mean standing up for them is beautiful. Standing up for someone, with them, by their side is peaceful.  Yes, you want to be alone. You don't want an accountability partner. You want no one to know you. And yet, them saying "I am here for you" is bigger than any promise ever made. It is more special than any vow anyone swoon before.  It is like SRK singing,  "...Chaahe jo tumhe, pure dil se Milta hai woh mushkil se, Aisa jo koi kahin hai, Bas wohi sab se haseen hai..." Yes, you are broken.  Having less to speak with is all that you wish for. But, know who to leave behind and whom not to. Not every soul deserves to suffer through you collateral damage.
