 Do you really think that writers or painters have a pattern in being mused and amusing you?

Do you really think that it is practically possible for any writer to wake up in the morning with a new hunch and inject in you a motivational punch?

Haa! Maybe you don't. But the influential social media and the urge to be found in a web traffic has made the writers and other artists feel that their art should come out in a pattern that matches the social media algorithm and help them to get found or let's say in the Gen Z fashion, 'trend'...!


Beginning from a few years ago till a few week ago, I too have tried to fit in an algorithm. The social media hashtags, you see. Fit in how the keywords works, how the hashtags can be used, what people are liking, what modern influencers are doing. And especially try to see if my posts has reached the algorithm approval or not. Surprisingly, whatever I did, did not work. Was it a surprise? No... It had not been working past four years, what new had I done to change it? Except ask a digital marketer how to uplift my Search Engine Optimisation, popularly called the SEO. 

These days, SEO has more value than CEO. Anyways. 



So, he told me I have to Google which words are trending and then see which artists are choosing that word, and see which type of posts are trending and blah.. blah.. blah.. I have realised that is not my thing. Writers are not SEO, just like they do not see themselves as a CEO. A painter is not trying to paint what influences all. He or she is just trying to express his or her own imagination. When I am writing a poem about the guy I love, I am not looking forward to you feeling the same, I just want you to understand the depth of it. Aaaaaand why that has to be APPROVED by the AI ALGORITHM?

Please tell me. In, fact while writing this piece I am still trying to use words like SEO, AI, Algorithm enough number of time, so that it reaches the massess.

We have upgraded and shifted to primitive life. 

Quality of an essay, uniqueness of a blog, statement of the writer, imagination of the painter are not the real things anymore. Oh well, who am I even telling this?

People, whose teachers depend on Grammarly to check the paper? LOL. 

Social media works on algorithm because it is trying to impress you by understanding your pattern. 

An artist, writer, singer or painter is not bound to deliver you regular art because ART, the very word demands patience, passion and priority. It is not a pattern. And definitely not bound to Algorithm.

  Few weeks ago, I had spent a very beautiful time with a friend of mine. Some weeks later to that day things in his life sprung up badly, to worse, to me getting blocked.  There is nothing that is called an early success. You have to begin early working on it. I have often contemplated over the last few months during my early 24s how I have not yet achieved anything in my music or writing career. And then look at these motivating and inspiring stars like Durjoy Dutta and Armaan Malik. They are already doing things they want. Earning from their passion and most importantly fulfilling the dreams of their parents and buying them everything they deserve. How astonishing! How focused them must have been right from the beginning. And here I am boiling milk in a bartan  and hoping that a miracle would do some kirtan!
