There is Nothing that is Called an Early Success

There is nothing that is called an early success. You have to begin early working on it. I have often contemplated over the last few months during my early 24s how I have not yet achieved anything in my music or writing career. And then look at these motivating and inspiring stars like Durjoy Dutta and Armaan Malik. They are already doing things they want. Earning from their passion and most importantly fulfilling the dreams of their parents and buying them everything they deserve. How astonishing! How focused them must have been right from the beginning. And here I am boiling milk in a bartan  and hoping that a miracle would do some kirtan! But, not that I am writing this to you is not because I am sad or at a state of contemplation. Remember I once said? Feel whatever you are feeling and let it pass. The more you hold back a feeling and resist it, the more it amplifies to raise delusions. I follow that.  My feeling of contemplation has passed and then it reckoned in my...

Time is Always Right

Few weeks ago, I had spent a very beautiful time with a friend of mine. Some weeks later to that day things in his life sprung up badly, to worse, to me getting blocked. Yeah… That day, he saw a tiny line on my palm, left or right I don’t remember and he said, “Muskan, you’ll get everything on time in life. The right things will come to you at the right time”. Sometimes, life plays with us. It shoots a problem at you. With no escape. You ask yourself questions, and then you find certain answers. You follow the path. One answer leads to another answer. Then to yet another answer. It gives you a sense of victory until you come back to the same point. To the same question. You find yourself stuck into that same square of problems. Like the square of one is always one :) And life says, "HOWZ THAT" But why does that happen so? Aren't experiences in life supposed to teach us and make us better? Yes. They are. Sometimes we keep coming back to square one because we keep finding solutions to our comfort zones. We keep try to reach a particular faraway point by stretching our hands to the utmost. We don't even try to move our limbs :) When problems keep ...
