Time is Always Right

Few weeks ago, I had spent a very beautiful time with a friend of mine. Some weeks later to that day things in his life sprung up badly, to worse, to me getting blocked. Yeah…

That day, he saw a tiny line on my palm, left or right I don’t remember and he said, “Muskan, you’ll get everything on time in life. The right things will come to you at the right time”. I laughed and said “amen”. Then he showed me his palm, there were three lines between two fingers, and he said, “I’ll get everything much late than I am supposed to.” And I said, “Okay that makes sense, that’s why I have found you at my right time, and you’ve found me late” and we laughed.
(I smiled while writing this). Anyways.

The centre of attention of this stance is, the fact that he had been told that things will show up late in his life from when he is ‘supposed to’ is the epicentre behind all the trouble. He believes this. He has more faith on this superstition than God, than his hard work, than his abilities.

Have you read the Mahakavya Ramayana?
Manthara was told that her deeds would throw her out of the palace. She misinterpreted the prophesy and planted wrong ideas in the Queen’s mind. Her attempt at mending her future actually destroyed it for her. She had considered that Lord Rama’s coronation and further rule would be the cause of her misery. This consideration rather was her self-imposed curse on herself. She considered things wrongly. Than tried to solve problems which were not even there. And created universal problems. But did it solve her future? No I guess... She was thrown away from the kingdom by King Bharata for her evil actions.

The point is believing half-truths, considering wrong possibilities and misinterpreting universal theories can ruin your life. Especially when you are dealing with time. I mean, what is ‘wrong time’ and ‘right time’? How do you know that you were supposed to get something earlier? And how do you know that if you had got that earlier it would have been right? If getting things early was the most ‘right thing’ about time, than we should all have achieved our goals right when we kicked ourselves from our mother’s womb! But that’s a silly statement, isn’t it? Sillier is to consider that ‘time is late’.

The best thing about time is, it is always on-time. Never late. Not even an inch. Yes, perhaps you can say, that Time is not in alignment with your needs and wants. But Time is always in alignment with your Fate.

You will not be getting anything before or after you are ‘supposed to’. What is ‘supposed to’ anyways? Just a self-assumed misery! A person can state that things in life feel stuck, and nothing is taking shape. Yes that can be. But hammering your mind, piling up negative emotions and not speaking upfront and destroying your relationships; how is that going to help? How is that sensible?

Stop.
Reconsider that.

Complaining over the punctuality of time is an irony. And a waste on bang. Time is always on-time. Time is watching us, our desires, our efforts, our talents, and our practice. Time is listening to our prayers and curses as well. Just like the Gen Z says, Karma never fails. Time is never late. You have to believe that the dish that you have ordered will come to you right when it is perfectly cooked. Because Time is a masterpiece and also a master chef. It will not serve you your order undercooked or overcooked. So relax. If you think, Time is not in alignment with your life, try dating Patience for a while.
