FOOLS IN LOVE

Jane Austen had once said, “We are all fools in love”. We seem to always know what can be the best for us. We keep staring at the sky, counting the stars, wishing that God might soon send the right person for us.

The right person: who is a right person? The one with the best smile; the one with wit and humour; the one a lot of bank balance… the one with a good emotional stability, the one with flying sparks… who, who according to you is a generalized version of the right person? No one can answer that. We all have our own version of the ‘right person’. Mine and yours would vary. But, when God finally sends that person into our lives do we really make enough efforts to keep them?

They say, that the right person will always stay, no matter what. But that doesn’t allow you to keep them pushing away. That doesn’t allow you to keep banging the door at their face and then being grateful that they stayed. Just because you want to check if a person is actually the right person or not, you cannot keep pushing them to the edge all the time to see if they can survive it or not.

Even the most right person would leave if taken for granted.
