Does India Deserve Another Havoc Yet Again?
Is Democracy even a thing between the five years of elections? The Nation has already seen a massive imbalance and instability during the infamous ‘note-bandi’.
The name India has a
history. The name India has a legacy. Our country is not just a peninsular land
in the Southern Earth. India has the most prominent tales of myths. All of
these is a part of India. And when The Government of India is proposing to
change the name of a country, it is proposing to eliminate that legacy, the
history, the mythical tales and everything in between. India is not a doll
which can be undressed at a Political Organization’s insane and unruly
proposal.
We the People of India
elect a Political Representative to run the working and services of our
country. This Political Representatives are not the owner of India. Be it the
Central Government, the Prime Minister, the Finance Minister, the Governor of
RBI or the President, none of them are the owner of our nation. Ironically they
hold a position which is supposed to be challenged within every five years.
Who gives such Temporary
Leaders the right to Permanently change the Name of the Country? The ‘honourable’
prime minister of the country, yes prime minister without ‘P’ and ‘M’ in
capital letters. We already have given much importance to these political
representatives. So this man, suddenly on a bright sunny afternoon decides to
change the name of the country! He and his team can’t eradicate poverty. They
can’t decrease the rape count. They can’t enact needful social reforms. But
they have to ‘work’.
So the prime minister and
his group work at changing the history syllabus, changing the secular mind-set
of people, changing the name ‘Allahabad’ to ‘Prayagraj’, changing the name of ‘Rajiv
Gandhi Khel Ratna Award’ to something half the citizens of India won’t
remember. NOW THEY WANT TO CHANGE THE NAME OF MY COUNTRY. These political cartoons
find interests at changing the name of India when they can’t change the phase of
unemployment in the India.
What is the point? Prime
Minister Narendra Modi is a Prime Minister today. BJP has control over the
Central Government today. They won’t sit on the same seat for the rest of India’s
future. The Constitution is the only absolute abiding source of India’s life
and fate! The Only! And I as a citizen of India do not approve the change of
the name of India. It is I who calls myself a Proud Indian. We do not approve
any jest with that.
Since India is a Democratic
country. The People of India deserve to choose the permanency. India is
suffering through various chronic backlashes.
India does not deserve another havoc yet again.
